If you look at just Summit Metro Parks in Akron, there are 16 different parks that span over 15,000 acres. There are some additional parks throughout the city, but these are the most common. Akron Recreation & Parks does a great job at maintaining these areas and keeping them gorgeous.

F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm is known for its hiking trails. The most popular ones include the following:

Within the 998 acres, there are seven different areas that you can explore. These include: the Wadsworth area, the Treating Line area, the Revere Road Lot, the Old Portage area, the North Hawkins area, the Lone Spruce area, and the Big Bend area.
